Il 4 Luglio 2008 i Rainska hanno presentato a Teramo il singolo
“Le Notti” che anticiperà l’uscita (prevista per settembre 2008)
del nuovo album “Lo specchio delle Vanità”.

I Rainska nascono nel 2002 su iniziativa dei fratelli Candeloro,
Pierpaolo e Giovanni, del vocalist Lorenzo Reale e del chitarrista
Angelo di Nicola. I quattro costituiscono lo zoccolo duro della
formazione la quale, dal 2002 al 2005, cambia tre batteristi,
due bassisti e un chitarrista. Dopo aver prodotto un paio di demo
dove già si vedevano ottime idee in fase compositiva, considerata
la giovane età dei componenti, nel maggio del 2006 entrano in formazione
il batterista Lorenzo Mazzaufo e il bassista Daniele Giannattasio che
completano l’attuale line – up.
I Rainska, trovata finalmente l’alchimia interna, iniziano così una
serie di numerosi concerti in ogni parte d’Italia facendo, in alcuni casi,
da spalla a gruppi affermati.
Nel novembre del 2007 comincia la lavorazione del primo vero e proprio
album del gruppo. Le registrazioni avvengono allo Skunk Studio di Marco Pallini
presso Bellante (TE) e il mixaggio viene effettuato al Living Rhum Studio di Mantova.
Dopo aver ricevuto moltissime offerte da parte di varie etichette, I Rainska
firmano un contratto con la prestigiosa agenzia di promozione
Alkemist Fanatix Europe, colpita positivamente dalla qualità dei pezzi,
e decidono di incidere per la Quick Flow (filiale italiana dell’etichetta
londinese UK Division Records). La distribuzione (nazionale ed estera) è curata, per quanto riguarda l’Italia, dall’Andromeda.
L’uscita ufficiale del disco, intitolato “Lo Specchio delle Vanità”, è prevista per settembre 2008. Attualmente i Rainska hanno appena dato alle stampe il singolo “Le Notti” e progettano di girare un videoclip professionale da far trasmettere
alle principali tv musicali (All Music, MTV, Rock Tv).

This phrase « Opposite Self » is more than a name, it is what everyone seeks within oneself, what separate things spiritual and Reality. It is one own reflection constantly denied, a metaphor between Life and Death.
This is the starting point of what the Opposite Self music gives off.
This music that you could call Alternative Metal is a blend of many styles merging the power of the Metal, the depth of Rock, the emotion of the Pop and the machines of the Electro. The atmosphere is characterized by a melodic and saturated singing, embellished by background vocals, setting the basis of the musical horizon given by Opposite Self. English Version

The band was born at the end of the 2003 from the fusion of 2 bands of Leghorn. In the beginning of the 2004 Down to none register their first Ep "A dying day", 5 songs sung in English. The Ep collects  a great success from the audience and by sectorial printed media which judges very well the work of band. In  the same year the band promotes its music through many live concerts. During 2005 the band decides, to pass from English to Italian lyrics . A strongly wanted choice by the guys, referable to various factors:  first of all a strong need to express theirself in Italian to give  an accomplished and immediate sense to what which the group itself looks to transmit through its lyrics, second the strong wish to face the hostile Italian market  with their sound and their style.

Later the band decides prevalently to dedicate to the songwritting of their first full leght and starts realizing the album test-pieces which some copies were exclusively reserved for the media. Pre-production has been relatively  long because the band decides to cure every aspect  of the songs in a very careful and precise way; by the end of it DTN decides to record everything in studio to finally record their debut album under the supervision of Mario Riso, then all the songs were Mixed with Marco Trentacoste ( deasonika; Rezophonic; DeltaV; Malfunk; the etc vibrations ) and mastered at "Nautilus Studio" In Milan by Giovanni Versari . Beyond that the band has released the video-clip for the single "Aria", directed by Carlo Strata  (Vasco Rossi, Mistonocivo, gemelli diversi etc..) for Zoomwork production (http://www.zoomworx.it) & Yage film .

In the meantime DTN were broadcasted in "Salaprove" a format on the "RockTV" (sky channel) and made some live appearances including a Gig with Rezophonic Project (www.rezophonic.com) .

Soon will be released their debut album "Ouverture" published by Rising Works (www.risingworks.net)  records distributed by Self (www.self.it); Alkemist-fanatix Europe (www.alkemist-fanatix-com)  will take care of the management and promotion.
