The band originates in 1997 from the idea of Frank Andiver: producer and drummer of different italian bands (such as Labyrinth and the most important ones "Oracle Sun"). The idea of the musician-producer is to find a brand new way for the italian rock-pop-metal; it stands out and enhances a catchy sound with innovative characteristics especially for what it concerns the lirycs and the arrangements. Alexx Hall, singer with pop-origisn,is taken into the band and from his voice emerges an expression and a timbre unique. The result has got an incredible strength and originality. The neo-band starts writing power-pop songs in collaboration with very melodic singers, accompanied by trance and electonic arrangements. All Wonderland's songs have got a "common denominator", they all tell the story of a killer who is in jail to serve a prison sentence and who uses the imagination to follow his memories and what is his idea of liberty, that is the "Wonderland". Later on, the guitar-play er Vic Mazzoni and the bassist Andrea Torricini will join the project. In 1998 an EP is recorded: "Somewhere in my Eyes". In the same time, the band starts recording its first and opening album by the Recording-Studio Zenith Rec. which will be finished at the digital-studio Octagonal Paris Recording. Finally the album will be Mastered at the prestigious Finvox Studio in Finland. The album is released during April of 2002 carrying the name of "Wonderland". In the year 2000 the band takes part in the tribute to Savatage "Return of the Mountain King" recording the song "Tonight He Grins Again". Immediately afterwards,on the 23rd of July 2003, an EP containing the new single "Eternally" has been released on Label RISINGWORKS and distribution SELF along with a cover-song and a new track of the forthcoming album. During summertime has been shot a promotional video for the track "Eternally" which has been directed by Paolo Doppieri.
