INKARAKUA take their first steps at the beginning of 2000: the band’s members come from Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) and from the outer city of the Island’s capital. The 5 guys are brought together by their joined passion for hardcore, modern thrash and the heaviest part of nu-metal/crossover. From the beginning, INKARAKUA focus their strength on the production of their own music and lyrics In Summer 2002 INKARAKUA signed a contract with W.*UCK RECORDS, that produced the first album titled “La Giostra dell’Odio” (W.*uck Records/VynilMagic3). During these years the band focused its attention on the search of its proper sound and its personal approach to metal-core; it was a development that has changed the original crossover sounds of the first album into a metal-core/noise temperament with an heavier and faster groove: lyrics are shouted (by the singer Cris) in Italian with no compromises with melodies, as the pure tradition of “Italian HC Style” wants. Finally in Autumn 2006 INKARAKUA terminated the elaboration of all tracks that will be contained in the second album – INKARAKUA (s/t) (UKDivision/Plastichead/Andromeda). INKARAKUA’s HC attitude comes out mostly during live performances, where the 5 guys bring out their fury, their strengths and all the energies until the last sweat drop! During 8 years INKARAKUA have played over 150 gigs and participated in some important events, sharing the stage with important band such as: Ratos De Porao, Walls of Jericho, Dog Eat Dog, Pennywise, Total Chaos, Linea 77, Earthtone9, Born From Pain, Extrema, GF93, Concrete Block and many others.
