“Heresy” are born in summer of 1998, when three Italian guys decided to buy two guitars and a bass guitar to form a band.

In the beginning the grunge-punk band is called “Nameless”. Later on, the singer- guitarist Adriano Pepe and his friends decided to play metal but the drummer didn’t like metal music so left the band.

Some month after “Nameless” found a new drummer, Jacopo Santini, they changed the name and the lead guitarist. Soon the “Heresy” start to play in pubs, in musical performances and some little contest.

They plaied at the “Fanote” in Fano (Italy) and they are classified 3rd  in summer 1999 and 2nd   in summer 2000. During the contest Adriano Pepe won the prize for the best voice.

A year later the guitarist left the band, so Daniele Re is the new lead guitarist of “Heresy”; immediately he collaborates for recording of  the first demo-CD. When the recording is finished, Jacopo Santini and Luca Fronzi, that plays the bass, left the band.

Adriano and Daniele are tenacious and search the members. Finally they find Giovanni Mandolini at the bass and Giampaolo Conti at the drums. This is the better formation that the  “Heresy” have ever had. Often the band plays in Emilia Romagna and Marche, in famous rock-clubs like “Vidia” in Cesena and “Dilan Dog” in Rimini for two times, “Area 51” in Riccione, “Moonshine” in Marotta for two times and “Amnesiac” in  Pesaro. They play in contests and in musical performances too.

“Heresy” play at the “European Music Festival” in Senigallia (AN) too. In summer 2004 “Heresy” start to record the first CD. The band records during the night ‘cause during the day the members must work. The CD  is been reviewed by web sites and “Rock Hard” , an Italian metal magazine.

The results are very good!!

The band keeps to play and in February 12 th 2005 the “Heresy” arrive in South Italy!

They play at the “North Wind” in Bari. Later on the “Heresy” start the search for a label or an agency that can help the band in the promotion. Finally in summer 2005 the “Heresy” receives proposals of collaboration by five Italian agencies. In 29 th July 2005 “Heresy” play in “The garden of Fabriano”.

In September 2005 the band start to collaborate with “ALKEMIST FANATIX” in Pistoia.

The adventure of  “Heresy” keeps on…
