CRIMES was founded by the brothers Benna (Alessandro Benedetti, guitar and vocals) and Bennons (Andrea Benedetti, guitar), in Modena, in 1999. Soon after the drummer Morre (Moreno Vicini) joined the band: this line up recorded the first demo in 2000.

In March 2001 Ciccio (Cristian Barlera) joins the band as bassist, and in 2005 the self-produced album Controkorrente was released. The group shows its talent by playing in many clubs of Northern Italy, increasing its popularity.

Thanks to an innovative mix of thrash metal with an uncommon taste for melody, combining at the same time the Italian language to sing, the band in 2006 was contacted by many independent labels.

In the same year Ciccio left the band, and he was replaced by Teppe (Simone Tepedino).

In January 2009 CRIMES enters in Zenith Studios to record the brand new album “Sottoterra”....
