MARPLOTS start their activity in March 2005, it's a union of young musicians, but with surely no lack in experience and knowledge in the metal scene of Northern Italy. The sound is hybrid, constantly swinging between modern metal and thrash influences.
After completing their band, they decide to self-produce their first album (MADNESS STABS YOUR MIND) to test their own capabilities and set their first goals. Despite the roughness of the product and of their ideas, the band obtains promising reviews, declaring their own identity.
Without further ado, the band starts a busy live activity, supporting consolidated bands like OVERFLOW, DISCLOSE, HORRID and CONTRASTO. In 2006 the band decides to attempt a new evolution, entrusting with an artistic director who is able to develop their own ideas.
DUALIZED collaborates with the writing process and produces the mini album SPLIT FROM THE DARK SIDE, which is able, with just 3 tracks, to show the strong band's renewal.
Their work, made even more interesting by the participation of special guests (M.V. from  DISCLOSE and ex vocals of BROWBEAT, and Miguelon, OVERFLOW), gets enthusiastic critiques about the stylish and technical style proved, as well  as they soon enough get radio airplay in different underground columns. With this new promo, Marplots determinately start facing the crowd and insiders, waiting to demonstrate their own skills both live and in the studio, with the realisation of an EP/Full Length.
