“Humans as a need, aliens as a choice. Searching, exploring, sounding every emotions to discover the other, the beyond, the different one. Aliens as a vocation, music attends our continuous search into different worlds, made up of madness and magic, hope and illusions, in life and death, in society and love, loneliness and community, in order to sing about unease, joy, adventures and risks. As Humanoalieno we was born this way, from the will, nude and pure, of the other as a condition accepted, imposed, wanted, demanded))”.
From an idea of Macs Villucci, who writes and sings lyrics, Humanoalieno are: Alberto d’Ari on keyboards, Enrico Sciaudone on guitar, Francesco Miele on bass and Paolo Scotti on drums. Coming from different musical backgrounds, everyone with their knowledge of life and music. Macs, Paolo e Alberto were part of the band Diresta (winner of Premio Città di Jesi), Enrico comes from massive-rock and Francesco from his experience with Blue Stuff. Together they form the alien strength, averse to compromises and modern musical scene, melting new wave remembrances and present world.
The band was officially born in 2005. The following year was the time for their first self-produced album which name could be nothing but Umano Alieno. The Arci Libertà e Musica association has chosen Ballad of spring for its 2007 compilation, produced by Sana Records. Radio Kemonia wanted Levante, along with five more tracks, for a live show at Napul@ club in Neaples. Sembianze has become the soundtrack of the 4th International Festival of Biodiversity. Even in 2007 they took the second place at national festival Uno su Mille, while invited to the Independent Music Day in Benevento by Francesco Baccini, after he listened to their job. Humanoalieno’s track are broadcasted by several national and international radios as Radio Altra Musica, Radio BlaBla Network, MINI Radio Web and WWUH Radio from USA. Status Quo is the EP which marks the early 2008. Meanwhile, music and images keep on blending in their project and during that summer they staged H148, almost 2 hours of unpublished tracks, covers and drama written and performed by Raffaele d’Ari, playing the role of an alien launched to the Earth. With no disguise, the band and their instruments, the alien and his human face, feelings of notes and clauses. 2009 gives Humanoalieno the panel’s special award at the Pemio Nazionale per le Musiche di Provincia. On Arci99’s stage in Grumo Nevano (Napoli) Macs received a plaque, as a recognition of depth, intelligence and social impact of lyrics. The alien composers’ newborn work is L’eredità, an involving track willing to say a lapidary “no” to nuclear power. A new show is on tour since last summer: H148 reloaded waits for you with new songs and videos.
