Hope Leaves project sees the light in the summer of 2004 and gets at the current line-up in september 2006.
Neil, artistically born as songwriter decided to share his lyrics and musics with the other members of the band, coming from different musical experiences.
The songs take form thanks to the contribute of the other musicians, each one composer of his own arrangement, whom gravitate around the semplicity and purity of the voice and acoustic guitar, in the effort to create music with direct impact and originality meantime.

In the summer of 2004 Neil Lucchetta, as soloist, got the 2nd place at “Non solo Musica” contest in Sernaglia della Battaglia.

In July 2006 Hope Leaves got the 3rd National Place during the “Emergenza” International music competition in Marcon, receiving the “Best Song” prize.

In December 2006 they won the “Goganga Rock 3rd edition” music contest in Conegliano, receiving the 1st Prize by John De Leo, one of the most representative Italian Pop Jazz voices. He defined Hope Leaves as “ an interesting acoustic blend”.

In May 2007 they deserved the 5th place among more than 125 bands during the “Arè Rock Festival”, played in Bari (Italian National Competition); Hope Leaves represented the North Italy and supported the Giardini di Mirò concert.

In July 2007 Hope Leaves opened the Animal Collective concert, during the Marcon Festival.

They recorded their first self-produced album “Hope Leaves” (November 2006), available only at their concert and online at their website, waiting for a Record Label interested to Hope Leaves sound.

Since November 2007 Hope Leaves start recording their second album.
