The idea of making a band comes up among the school benches from the mind of Rinna (bass), Cammo (drums) and Michel (guitar) in 2001. In those years, the master of the alternative-rock music scene is American nu metal, rappresented by Disturbed, Soulfly, Defton, Slipknot, System of a Down, and just these bands inspire the birth of Enema first incarnation, that with the arrival of Mjkol (guitar) and Borci (voice) takes the name of Croop Circle.

The band starts to take its first steps, not only in songs writing but also in technique, for every member is autodidact and at his first band experience; this is the context in which first songs born, but 2 years later, Michel decides to leave the band to devote himself to other projects. Remaining members decide not to replace him and take the change deu to the parting of a member to a deeper level: they change genre, or at least change something to make it fresher and innovating, for by now nu metal style in general is becoming with time a dull copy of itself. So, 2003 sees Croop Circle change their name in Decree of Silence, that mix the above crossover and nu metal with punks riffs and hard rock sounds, and they record a self- produced Cd of 11 songs: Complesso di Sindrome.

Songs are catchy and chasing, but there's still something missing to make then really impact. Solution comes with metal core genre and with New Yorker hard core, with bands as Chimaira, Sick of it all, Caliban , As I lay dying, Killswitch Engage, Snapcase. Guitars become heavier, drum is faster and Borci mix with clean singing a massive deal of growls and screams, typical of metal core and extreme metal in general. Alchemy is complete, and takes a new name: Enema enter the studios in 2006 and record Evolution, an appreciated and convincing single, that first comes the arrival of Alex (guitar), strong in his excellent technical capacity, and the collaboration with Alkemist Fanatix, who opens new possibilities to Enema.
