Dr.Hyde officially born in Rome in the winter of 2007, with a formation of four elements: Mauro voice, Damiano guitars, Alberto drums, Raffaele bass guitar. The band is the result of a long run through the years. In the late 2001 Mauro and Damiano started to play and write music together consolidating a great feeling and understanding with each other that will bring them, in one year, to have a lot of new music to record. In the 2003-04 they recorded the first album named “Mother Rock” with the band “Absintè” and Alberto become part of the band Absintè immediately after the recording of the album, in time to play at the show case at the Alpheus club in Rome. After a lot of problem with the producers of the album and the continue dissatisfaction with them the Absintè split off nearly after the publication on “Mother Rock” album in the 2005. In the 2 subsequent years Mauro, Damiano and Alberto followed other project waiting for a new bass player to build up the band again…In the 2007 Raffaele reached the band as the new bass player and in a few months the 4 musicians prepared new songs. In the 2008, after a lot of live shows to broadcast the new music, Mauro decided to produce an EP of 4 new tracks…the sound is definitely new! In the same period the band decide for the new name “Dr.Hyde” At the end of 2008 the EP is digitally distributed by Believe Digital and a lot of radio station play the Dr.Hyde tunes…
