The Circle definitively formed as a group in October 2007, a period in which there is a significant maturation in its musical style and individual group member introspection. After a period of time-wasting and immature emotional upheaval, the group starts to focus on a serious musical concept.

Working diligently, jam sessions in a basement, the group's original pieces in Italian and in English became part of the first demo. The group has a groove that is fresh, an energetic mix between funk and rock. Their music receives positive appraisal from local crowds, earning them live evening performances in clubs in and nearby Viterbo from the first demo; the Circle continues to grow artistically. The group is featuring beyond the Viterbo local area and invited to participate in the “Sbando Music Contest” in Narni, Terni, earning the first place prize and outstanding critics review.

Soon after, the group is chosen to take part in a musical festival, “Music Village”, organized in Calabria promoting musical contests among emerging groups in Italy. The three-man group, in each live performance, showed high energy which had been lacking in other rock bands less aggressive.

During the following months, the Circle continues to play live performances and participate in music  festivals, without losing their initial appeal. The evening performance that they were dreaming for finally happens in August of 2009. The initial contact with the tuscan group, Malfunk, featuring Marco Cocci as the lead vocalist, was fatal. The three band members highly consider Malfunk, having listened to their music countless times on the I-pod. Perhaps it was pure luck that  landed them in an unforgetable live performance at “Contestaccio” in Rome with the “bad” tuscans, leading to a new friendship.

The electrifying funk of the bass, the groovy riff of the electric guitar, the powerful rhythm of the percussions are worthy to accompany an aggressive lead vocalist; for this reason, the Circle continues to compose new pieces in Italian.

Once again, as before, their new demo, ready to debut in November 2009, entitled "Les enFunk Terrible", will blow you away.

The Circle has high aspirations and even higher expectations from the future; always reaching further and beyond counting on their musical potential and strong desire to entertain people for the pure pleasure of making music.
