Cinderella's Revenge formed in July 2006 from the ashes of Nothing Lasts Forever and Anything But Real, two emo-punk rock bands.
At first the band was composed of Alex (voice and guitar), Scatta (drums), Ste (voice and bass guitar) and Lapo (guitar)but, in consequence of problems inside the group, Lapo quit C'sR.
Alex, Ste and Scatta linked their different but, at the same time, similar musical experiences and influences to give the band a new mark: they started playing covers of Underoath, Story of the Year, The Ataris, Starting Line, A Change of Pace, just to find the right rhythm. In parallel they started writing their own songs, and their first demo appeared in early January 2007.
The first three songs recorded by the group present a mixture of different musical genres: rock, pop-punk, emo. The plenty of the guitar riffs in those songs required the presence of a second guitarist, in order to offer emarkable live permormances.
So Tia joined the band, and his entry determined a turning point for what concerns the musical tendency of the band, that moved to pop-punk, but without leaving completely the sounds of the origins.
