The story until now…
26 April 2006 Our origins are very near…Just a second compared with the age of the World, just an instant, lost in the depths of Beginning…
The story begins in 2001-2002, when I Alfeo and Dario formed a strange trio of apprentice guitarists, without name and without goals, just to spend some time tasting the sound of our new passion: music. After one year and half spent to test our new skills, with different groups of different people, Alfeo discovered his new and inborn passion for drums (yes he started playing just 3 years ago!), so he decided to give up the guitar and form a new group. We wanted to enter the Metal Universe, tired of the close-minded flair of our little city. And it was a good idea, because we become part of the new wave of innovation that other groups of our town found out. Even Destiny was by our side, because I met two friends of my ex-girlfriend (an High and pale bass player, Matteo, and a hulking and rough guitar player, Diego) performing “For Whom The Bell Tools” with a female singer…It felt very sad to me see two souls blessed by Metal screaming silently the lyrics of that song, while the soft voice of the singer bounded gently the beast inside their hearts…
So I decided to free these poor pilgrims from their musical slavery of their old group, and I asked them to join us! The sparkle in their eyes was dazzling!
That’s how the story began… We started performing Metallica covers (“Sanitarium”, “ For Whom The Bell Tools”, “Fade To Black”, “Seek & Destroy”, and others that I don’t remember…) and sometimes we made live shows in some of that places enough high-minded (or enough fool…) to welcome us on their stages…
In 2004 we began writing some stuff similar to a song (“Project” and “The Landscape Of Greed”) e we continued our personal crusade to bring out the best from ourselves… Until, in June 2005, we recorded our first demo (“The Landscape Of Greed”). We were proud of our work in the beginning, but it was a mere illusion, although the congratulations of the ones who listened it. We soon discovered that our work was really below our goals, and so we cried on ourselves for the rest of the summer…
Until it came the Light!
In September, we began again our work, with a renewed energy, a new Faith and new goals. All but one… There was a dark presence hiding while we rehearsed…And we soon discovered that the birth of that shadow lied in our hearths…
Sadly, was Dario the victim of the curse, so we had to cut the ill branch, to let the tree live…
It was a hard choice, but we couldn’t perform anymore in that corrupted atmosphere formed by our fears and our rancour…
So we told him our decision, and fortunately, our friendship was still alive…
We’re still thanking Dario for what he has done! Meanwhile the Destiny Machine was working for us once again…We met a talented and young guitar player, who supported us while we played with Dario: his name was (and is) Alessandro.
It took about two months to play with him, because he had some illness to his harm strings (the curse is still waiting…) but, when the sun shone again on us (January 2006) we were finally ready!
In April 2006 we began to record a new demo made of 4 tracks. We’re certain that our attempts will be rewarded, this time…At least for our personal satisfaction. We have still a LOT to learn, and we’re determined to record a real cd within 2008…Until then, the Universe will keep dancing his sinuous ballad…. Among all the performance we made last year we want to mention that on 29/7/06 we performed with Linea 77 in Montale, on 11/9/06 we performed with Eldritch in Pistoia, and we will perform with Graveworm on march 2007 KEEP THE METAL FAITH ALIVE!
