The beginning of Anomala Vitis' journey goes back to summer 2001, tanks for a very useful meeting in a pub between Cristiano "Jimmy" Dominici and Matteo "Grass" Olimpieri respectively Voice and Rhythmic Guitar and Lead Guitar. At that time the third member of the band was Carlo "Carlino" Quondamangelomaria, who immediately stood out for being an enthusiastic and brilliant Bassist. The band started, Rehearsing but just for soon realize that it was missing of another important fellow: The Drummer. So a fourth member got involved in Anomala Vitis': Andrea. Now the band was finally able to make itself heard thanks to competition and performances in which it took part. Onspite of this, it was very hard to lead people to really appreciate the sound and the lyrics of the band, probably because of the lack of open mindedness of a too small and maybe too much provincial reality. At the beginning of 2005, the band was able to go to the studio to record a demo.
The new song attracted more and more fans, with lyrics about peace, free love, reechoing the spirit of the 70s. But soon the mood inside the band became unbearable until the summer 2005 when Andrea (Drums) finally left Anomala Vitis' . Afterwards, the band got to know Moreno "Time Man" Centoscudi, current Drummer and essential member of the crew. On 2006 Anomala Vitis got involved in competition much as "Emergenza Festival" as well as performances in different pubs in Rome. The band has interesting unpublished works, and was now benefiting from a new collaboration and closeness, probably due to stimulating live performances. On 2007 Carlino memorable member of the Bands left Anomala Vitis'. He was replaces by the new bassist : Raffaele "Tongh" Sandrini. Whit this refreshed and explosive formation on summer 2008 they met again in a studio to record un published tracks. The rest of the story is still to be written, but there's one thing you can be sure about you hear talking about Anomala Vitis again. SO LOOK OUT !!! 'CAUSE ROCK 'N' ROLL IS BACH !!!
