The 24/7 deadline project starts in 2005 thanks to the founders, Dave (screamer and guitarist), and Mark (drummer), with the intention to offer a completely different sort of sound from their original one. In fact, under the name Tears of Sorrow, the band embraced a sound that inclined more to the emo-rock genre, which was quite popular at the time. In February 2006 the group starts recording in the studios their first pieces: the result is a demo (homonymous to the band) which did not satisfy the needs and musical ideas to which the band aspired to. Towards the end of the year, and after another failed attempt at recording, the group decides to revolutionize itself. New influences such as metal core and heavy metal, together with a new line-up (Riccardo becomes part of the band as guitarist, and Kram as vocalist), give life to a charming and catchy sound which can be summarized in the current 24/7 Deadline. The leader of the band, Dave, decides to eliminate all the old material and start again from scratch, writing the first three songs that will be recorded in April 2007 in the “Sick Boy Recording Studios”. The clearly improved sounds motivate the band, which starts preparing itself to be launched on the roman scene. A new change in the line-up (Matt becomes a new member of the group as bass) days away from the group’s live debut makes the band give their all on the stage of Traffic the 22nd of September 2007. After several successful live performances, 24/7 Deadline go back to the studio (Sick Boy Recording Studio) giving life to two more songs which, fused with the previous ones, originate the promo that brings the band to a collaboration with Alkemist-Fanatix who hope to bring the band to the publication of a first piece of work ( ep, or full length).
